Weddings
Weddings or partnership celebrations are usually captured on film and the couple want to treasure it forever. Sometimes this is filmed by a professional company, sometimes by a friend. In all cases you want this film presented beautifully and preserved digitally.
Supply your footage in its present form and have it beautifully edited and presented. Using your footage, and adding in some of your photos and favourite music, let us create something that reflects your special day. This may be an elegant review of the day, or perhaps a more vibrant and light hearted contemporary film.
Pricing varies depending on the amount of time spent on your editing. The following is a guide:
Standard wedding edits are completed for £150-£200. For this you can expect:
- Editing of your footage, focusing on the best footage.
- Elegant titles.
- Photographs included in a slideshow format.
- Inclusion of our appropriate copyright free music throughout the film. e.g. over titles, over footage of the guests chatting or the photos being taken.
- Preview version of the film sent either by DVD or by private YouTube viewing (never public).
- Personalised onscreen menu with full scene selection.
- DVD presented with personalised case and disc face including photos from the day.
In some cases, there may be additional requirements that take a little more time and may cost a little more. This could include:
- Footage from more than one camera to be mixed together.
- A larger amount of footage to be cut down selectively.
- Special photo montages.
- Additional special effects for a particularly contemporary film e.g. slow motion, TV style transitions.
- Additional improvements to the quality of sound or picture.
- More personalised on screen menu to include photos, video and music.
- A short highlights film of the whole day set to one song – ideal for sharing on YouTube for family to enjoy.
- If HD footage, one or more copies on Blu-ray as well as DVD copies.
- Additional small films or sections – e.g. goodwill messages, additional photo slideshows, different versions.
For a small additional charge, we can acquire a licence for you so that you include any of your favourite published music from the charts or your CD collection. This is normally about £15 for up to 5 copies of your DVD. Easy!
